Voiceover: Gregory

March 8th, 2008 · No Comments

So, The Gregory Brothers turned out to be a Gregory brother tonight. Andrew Rose Gregory was playing solo at The Coffee Mill. Andrew, what’s up with the false advertising?

We got there a bit late but caught the rest of the show, mostly featuring songs from his recent album The Color Red & Other Songs About the Power of Love. Andrew apparently thinks he gets paid by the word for album titles. Andrew, what’s up with that title?

Anyway, I think Andrew said the CD came out on our just before Valentine’s Day. We wouldn’t know because he didn’t send us a review copy. Andrew, what’s up with not sending us a review copy?

It was nice to hear all the new material, though, and Gregory exhibited his usual wit on stage. He once again showed he is a solid singer, songwriter, and performer. Whether solo or with his brothers, it was a good way to spend an evening on a damp and chilly night in Radford.
