The first step to a public transportation system for Radford is gaining a critical vote from Radford City Council in support of an application to the State of Virginia for funds to start a system. Community members are invited to show their support at the Radford City Council Meeting.

Public transportation is a great part of Radford’s past to bring back. Last week we took the bus from C’burg to B’burg. It was fun and convenient! The Smart Bus is a great way to get to Roanoke too. Adding public transportation options within Radford, and to and from neighboring towns will help make this a more attractive and cohesive community.

If there was public transportation between Radford and the other areas of the NRV. I would use it. If there was a bus from Radford to Montgomery Regional Hospital I definitely would use it to get work.
