The Virginia Tech Police Department is investigating two incidents of indecent exposure that have occurred on the north side of campus. The first incident occurred Nov. 30 at approximately 8:20 p.m., on the sidewalk between Femoyer Hall and Major Williams Hall.
The second incident occurred Dec. 1 at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the parking lot between Derring Hall and Pamplin Hall. Following that incident, the suspect left the area in a blue sedan, possibly a later model Chevrolet Lumina.
During each of the incidents, the suspect exposed himself to women passing near him, but made no attempt to approach or threaten the women.
The suspect is described as a white, fair-skinned, male, mid to late 20’s in age, 5 foot 5 inches to 6 foot tall, having a thin build (approximately 150 pounds), unshaven, with dark brown hair that was straight and cut in an ear-length bowl-style. In both incidents, the suspect was wearing black dress pants and a white shirt. He was wearing a black jacket or sport-coat during the first incident.
Both incidents remain under investigation. Virginia Tech Police are requesting assistance from any persons who may have also witnessed the incidents or have further information. Contact the Virginia Tech Police Department at 540.231.6411 or Detective Robert Taylor at 540.231.8121.
