Leaves are changing colors, football season is underway, and Halloween is right around the corner. Fall is in full swing. Young actor Cameron Woodruff is your host on this fascinating walking tour around the center of the town. Learn the eerie ghost tales of the town of Floyd (and some local history as well). The walk is about an hour long. Meet at the Black Water Loft coffee shop. Walking tour leaves at 7 p.m. & on Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31, there is an additional 8: p.m. tour by Coriander Woodruff.

Blacksburg — Downtown Trick-or-Treating
Bring your fairies and ghosts for community trick-or-treating with the Downtown Merchants. Catch the Chicken Guy at 4:30 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre and stay for the annual costume contest.
