Vegetarians in Virginia may soon be able to display special license plates declaring their commitment to a meat-free diet. Vegan Action has teamed up with The Richmond Vegetarian Festival and the Vegetarian Society of Richmond to pursue this initiative. What they need for the plates to be available in April 2011 is at least 350 individuals to send in their prepay of $10 now supporting the idea. If they don’t get enough support, the funds will be returned. Go here for more information about how to support the cause.
