The are a group of young African-American stringband musicians that have come to together to play the rich tradition of fiddle and banjo music in Carolinas’ piedmont. Come listen to their folk tunes on Friday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg.

Rhiannon Giddens and Justin Robinson both hail from the green hills of the North Carolina Piedmont while Dom Flemons is native to sunny Arizona. This show is a Mountain Music Benefit concert. Tickets are available through the Community Opportunities website by phone at 961-7346.
