FloydFest ’08 is right around the corner (July 24-27), but with so many musical acts, how do you decide who you should see? Take a speed date and see if this act is right for you!

Where are you based? New York City

Where do you typically tour? We tour up and down the eastern half of the
country although we tend to steer towards the Southeast for the sweet tea.

What’s your most recent CD? American Heartache. It features Luther Dickenson (Black Crowes, North Mississippi Allstars) as well as the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Shannon McNally. It doesn’t officially release until early September but we will have some copies available at FloydFest!

Are you signed to a label? We weren’t. Then we were. Then we weren’t. Long story but a happy ending.

Who are your musical influences? Tom Petty, Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Son Volt for starters.

Who are some musical acts that sound like you? I draw from my musical influences but I hope that no one sounds quite like me.

Why should I come see you? Everyone should that likes to get down!

When will you be playing? Two sets on Saturday: Main Stage 1:30-2:30 p.m. and Pink Floyd Beer Garden 8:15-9 p.m.

What are you most looking forward to about playing FloydFest? Seeing old friends, making new friends, sit ins, and dropping American Heartache on all the fans!
