Parents: Summer Camps

July 9th, 2008 · No Comments

Hello parents in the NRV! I hope your summer is moving along well. It’s starting to go fast now, so don’t miss this opportunity for your 9-15 year olds to go and have some fun.

Check out this website for some information on Summer Art Camps, getting ready to happen in Blacksburg this month.

And for the dance lovers in your family, of all ages, check out the Radford Library.

Dance Camp, kids of all ages are invited to the Radford Public Library for free dance lessons taught by local dance teacher Corrine DeVane Shelor  or Radford Dance Center on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, July 29 – 31 from 1-2 p.m.

For those who love bugs, check this out:

Future Scientists and Insect Enthusiasts are invited to sign-up for this six week program at the Radford Public Library. Each week kids will learn about insects, conduct experiments, and build upon the science of bugs learned in the previous weeks. For kids age 7 and up, please register, and plan to come to each session (but if you have to miss one it will be okay). Mondays at 3 p.m. (from July 7th through August 11th)

Leslie Miller lives in Christiansburg and is a mom.
