Gallery Show Now Open in Roanoke

kindablue.jpgOne of the most beloved colors, color of the sky and sea, a three year period in the life of Pablo of Picasso and a powerful vocal and instrumental form of music based on the use of the blue notes. The Cheshire Gallery proudly presents, “Kinda Blue” featuring paintings by Dana Sharvin and photography by Daryl Thetford. The show runs through June 28 with opening reception held the evening of Thursday, June 5 from 6-9 p.m.

The reception will include refreshments and live blues music by the Jesse Ray Carter Trio. Other artists represented by the gallery include; Ross Arkell, Tony Brown, S. J. Carter, Sonya Chappelear, C.L. Cunningham, Lori Daniels, Michael Farrar, Richard Gross, Suzanne Guppy, Dreama Kattenbraker, Brett LaGue, Steve Mitchell, Joel Sampson, Randi Solin, Dave Wertz and Joli Ayn-Wood.
