Main Street Radford held a ribbon cutting in honor of Retro-to-Go, the kitschy antique shop on Radford’s West End (previously featured here). The proprietor, Karmakev, made sure that everyone who attended enjoyed punch, veggies, pizza, and the new pastries he discovered at Wades.

Meanwhile, folks made their way through his shop, petting his dog Harley and marveling at the unbelievable finds–the Elvis lamp, chain mail bikini, the UFO-like chandeliers hovering above their heads. Absolutely nothing is boring in Karmakev’s shop.
From the flamingos and Jackie O. handbag out front to the disco platform shoes in the back, the place is dripping with style and amusements. (If a monkey banana tree doesn’t make you smile, then you need to take some serious happy pills.)
Beware, however–if you give Retro-to-Go a visit, you’ll find things you never knew you wanted but now mysteriously do. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Interesting choice of name - Retro To Go has been operating as a high-profile retro news site for a number of years. And has nothing to do with this shop.
