What does a bug, a rag, a toy and an autoharp have in common?Find out at “Family Fun: On the Farm, In the Forest,” a weekend of classes sponsored by Chestnut Creek School of the Arts at the Matthews Farm Museum on July 31 and August 1. These classes are the last in Chestnut Creek’s series of special weekends at the Farm Museum and will be held in conjunction with the Farm’s Heritage Day event on August 1. Learn Rag Weaving with Fiber Artist Kathleen Hill and make your own table runner. Whittle an Appalachian toy for your favorite child with Wood Carver Brad Smith.
